YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia — August 13, 2025 — UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has realigned 146 administrative positions under new national regulations, signaling its push toward a more efficient, future-ready public service.
The changes, mandated by Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 32 of 2024, replace outdated job classifications with roles tailored to modern work patterns and service demands. Positions span from Policy Technical Analysts and Data Processors to Operational Service Managers and Laboratory Operators.
Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga emphasized that the reform is more than a name change—it strengthens qualifications, skills, and workflows to meet growing societal needs. He urged staff to master emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance public service delivery.
“Our achievements—academic, research, and institutional—are built on the commitment of an agile, skilled administrative workforce,” the Rector said. “By adapting to change and embracing innovation, we ensure UIN Sunan Kalijaga remains ahead of the curve.”
The event concluded with a symbolic decree handover to representatives, marking the university’s commitment to merging regulatory compliance with innovation to serve both the academic community and the public more effectively.
