Yogyakarta, October 2, 2025 —
Indonesia’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, MA,
achieved a 75% public satisfaction score in the latest survey by Indo Survey
& Consulting (ISC), conducted ahead of the first anniversary of President
Prabowo’s administration. The figure places him among the nation’s top-performing
ministers, alongside the Minister of Finance, the Cabinet Secretary, and the
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs.
The high rating reflects the
tangible success of the Ministry’s flagship programs — from the digital
transformation of Hajj and Umrah services that enhanced transparency and
efficiency, to the nationwide expansion of religious moderation initiatives
across Islamic boarding schools and interfaith communities. The Ministry’s swift
humanitarian responses to local religious conflicts and its push to empower
pesantren as centers of community-based economic growth also gained public
appreciation.
UIN Sunan Kalijaga Rector, Prof.
Noorhaidi Hasan, praised the achievement: “We deeply appreciate Minister
Nasaruddin’s commitment to providing transparent, inclusive religious services
that truly benefit society. His leadership represents a strong model of
technocratic excellence under President Prabowo’s administration.”
With consistent performance,
integrity, and a people-centered approach, Prof. Nasaruddin continues to
strengthen the Ministry’s strategic role in fostering national harmony,
tolerance, and peace.
